We cannot guarantee our garlic will perform for you. There are too many variables in gardening or farming. We know how to grow garlic seed stock that can be grown by other gardeners and farmers, but we cannot control what happens in your garden or field or what mother nature brings us.
If you are unhappy with the garlic bulb quality, we will gladly refund your order for the amount of the garlic on the simple condition that you contact us within 2 days of receiving your order and return the garlic to us within 5 days of receiving your shipment. Our liability is limited to the actual cost of the garlic. We always inspect each bulb for quality, and if we see any issues, we don’t ship it!
Garlic is a produce product and it naturally deteriorates as all produce does. Once it leaves our farm, we are unable to control the environment the garlic is stored in, so please read our how to store garlic. Please know that garlic can store for up to 9 months or more or it can deteriorate quickly depending on how it is stored.
When we ship your garlic, we will send tracking information to the email you provided, so you know when the garlic is about to arrive. Please track the package and open your box immediately and store your garlic properly. If there is a problem with shipping, it would be a good idea to contact your local post office right away which is usually the fastest way to find your box. We have the ability to contact USPS customer service at a high level, but it is the local post office that usually has the answer. Once you contact them and if you don’t get an answer, please contact us, so we can assist in getting your package to you.
We do recommend planting your garlic around October 15 (zone dependent), because large bulbs do naturally deteriorate faster than eating garlic, especially certain varieties. If you order after October 15th, you must plant your garlic right away as we inspect it before it leaves, but it can naturally deteriorate quickly, so you need to plant it right after receiving it. We can’t guarantee bulbs after October 15th, since larger garlic bulbs used as seed stock, especially certain varieties, may not always store long after this date.
